Festival of Ideas at the Sedgwick Museum, Cambridge

10am - 4pm on Wednesday 23rd October, 2013 Sedgwick Museum of Earth Sciences, Downing Street, CB2 3EQ Using the fossil collections of the Sedgwick Museum of Earth Sciences as a source of inspiration, join local artist-printmaker Susie Turner to learn how to transform simple drawings of fossilised animals, fish or plant life into colourful original fine art prints using the techniques of Drypoint and Chine CollĂ©. Please note: This workshop has been organised by Susie in collaboration with the Sedgwick Museum - the workshop will be led by local artist-educator, Hannah Webb. Suitable for beginners and for those with some experience of printmaking or drawing.
