Printmaking with Sunlight at the Cambridge University Botanic Garden, 2014
This two day workshop will introduce participants to a new form of printmaking for artists that is simple, safe, time effective and versatile. Printmaking with sunlight / Solarplate, describes the process of printing with light sensitive plates that have been exposed to sunlight or an artificial source of UV light and developed in water. Participants will learn how to transfer hand drawn originals, photographs and collected foliage into unique fine art prints.
