Solar plate printmaking

at the University of Cambridge Botanic Gardens

2 day adult workshop with Susie Turner MA 20th and 21st June, 2012, 10am-4pm This 2 day course introduces participants to a simple, safe and versatile form of printmaking for artists. Working with light sensitive printing plates that can be exposed using natural sunlight and then developed in tap water, participants are shown how to transfer hand drawn imagery, photographs and the direct use of botanical material into unique hand-made prints.
