Printmaking with Granta Special Needs School, at Anglesey Abbey, National Trust, 2015
'Imprints of Nature' Printmaking workshop
In April, 2015 I ran a printmaking workshop for a group of key stage 4, age 14-16 students from the Granta Special Needs School, Linton, in Cambridgeshire. The workshop took place within Hoe Fen's Woodland Wildlife Discovery Area, a 'wild space' beyond the more formal gardens of Anglesey Abbey, owned by National Trust. The students regular visit Anglesey Abbey and help National Trust volunteers with seasonal activities. On this day students worked with me and created original fine art prints inspired by the local wildlife using techniques of Drypoint and monotype printing.
There will be an exhibition of the prints at Granta Special Needs School. For further information please visit their website.
