LOOP celebrates its 10th anniversary. The first LOOP exhibition was in 2005, and there have been 11 shows in ten years, an evolving platform that has presented some of the best in new printmaking.
LOOP is an informal co-operative of artists with a background in print. Some of the artists have exhibited internationally, set up print studios, or pursued teaching careers; others have continued to work in their own studios, while a few have just recently completed a printmaking MA at Camberwell. The focus has always been on print, with creative and experimental use of the oldest and newest technologies. The variety and vitality of contemporary print has been evident in all LOOP exhibitions.
LOOP2015 brings together a group of 25 artists: Alison Bickmore, Lynne Blackburn, Anthony Broad, Richenda Court, Frank Dolphin, Heather Fahy, Marianne Ferm, Jane Lacy Hodge, Julie Hoyle, Fabienne Khial, Janet Milner, Jackie Newell, Ann Norfield, Valeriya N-Georg, Ralph Overill, Elizabeth Peer, Sumi Perera, Annika Reed, Annee Robson, Lucinka Soucek, Eric Storey, Maki Takizawa, John Tate, Susan Turner and Caro Worboys.
