An environmental art project involving families from the Croft delivered in collaboration with Arts and Minds partnered with the National Trust, funded by Children in Need.
July - September 2012
Over the next three months I will be running a series of print based workshops involving children, family and staff from The Croft at the Ida Darwin Hospital, Cambridge. The workshops will take place in and around the National Trust Anglesey Abbey's Hoe Fen Wildlife Discovery Area. Each week the children and their families are introduced to a new technique of printmaking, ranging from drypoint, carborundum, mono printing, relief printing and stamp-making. Some of the prints will be exhibited at Anglesey Abbey and within Hoe Fen Wildlife Discovery Area at the end of the 12 weeks. Eventually some printworks will be used to decorate the newly built giant treehouse.
