Description
This one day workshop will introduce participants to the simple technique of Drypoint, the most direct form of Intaglio Fine Art Printmaking, and Chine Collé, the method of printing with fine papers to provide background colour, form and texture.
Participants will transfer drawings to both plastic and copper plates using a variety of mark making techniques. The plates will then be inked and printed in colour onto dampened paper using an etching press.
